Markel Quarles

He is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at UC Santa Barbara and holds an M.A. in Education and B.S. in Physical Education, both from Cal Poly. Markel is a Graduate Opportunity Fellow and played football for Cal Poly as an undergrad. To schedule an appointment with Markel, call 756-2501 x4. He is available on a drop-in basis in the Multicultural Center (in the UU) on Tuesdays from 1 – 2 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 2 – 4 p.m. at Career Services (except finals week, breaks, and summer). Markel’s advice:“Success is planned, not an accident. And as you succeed, learn how to communicate that success. Employers and graduate schools want people who know they’re good and how they’ll benefit the company or graduate program. So sharpen your communication skills and start asking yourself where you’re going and how you’re going to get there.” |
