Academic Requirement: Academic credit (fees & registration)
required for each Co-op quarter, including Summer Quarter. Check with your department for possible technical elective credit.
Co-op positions may not be converted to internships. |
Academic Requirement: None (the College of Engineering does not offer internship credit). You do have the option to receive Co-op credit for these positions if they meet academic criteria. |

Requirements: Monthly progress reports, professional report, employer evaluation due to Department Chair at beginning of quarter following Co-op assignment. See Co-op Guidelines & Forms. |

Qualifications:
Completion of at least one quarter at Cal Poly, but employers generally look for juniors,
seniors or graduate students; minimum 2.0 GPA (not on academic or administrative probation); at least one quarter of school remaining after Co-op assignment (students who have graduated are not eligible). |

Some employers will specify preferred GPA requirements. Students who have graduated are usually not eligible. |
